We The Church
The other day I was browsing some blogs, and I forgot where I saw this, but I found this very cool website. Some of you may have heard of it, but either way, here’s what it’s about.
It’s called WeTheChurch.org It was created to “unite the church in prayer”. It’s a wonderful concept. You submit a prayer that is under 140 characters (which isn’t a lot sometimes!), and people who read it can pray for you. While you’re there, you can also pray for others who have submitted prayer requests. You can also submit a Praise, praising God for what He has done in your life. And while you’re there, help promote it!
To me, this is a great concept. I’ve seen it done before, but this website is nice and pretty and easy to use. Simple, and all that jazz. Prayers and Praises are reviewed before they are put on the list.
Knowing that people are praying for me gives me that extra strength I need sometimes, and being able to pray for people and knowing God hears my prayers gives me substantial joy and happiness. Being loved, and loving. I feel like jumping around and yelling praises all day! Sometimes I wish it was Sunday night, so I could go to worship service and worship my head off with other Christians. I’m getting off topic, but oh well!
Speaking of joy and happiness, I’m going to give a shameless plug to Pete Wilson’s blog. The other day he had a post about Happiness. You should read (:

Thanks for helping promote WeTheChurch. And thanks for praying for all the requests that come in. Seeing them flow through my Twitter feed has changed the rhythm of my day. I find I’m always reminded to be close to God.
Glad you like the site.
